Privacy & Data

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 7, 2026 · Last updated for App Store submission

Overview

Readori respects and protects user privacy. This policy explains how the app handles local reading data, optional iCloud sync, Pro status storage, optional cultivation cloud sync, and optional Telegram / Discord binding.

In short: we do not show third-party ads, do not perform cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking, and do not sell user data.

Data We Process

We follow data minimization and process only what is needed for the features you use:

  • Local storage: Bookshelf data, reading progress, bookmarks, themes, fonts, reading preferences, reading connection configurations or rules you add and save, and diagnostic logs are primarily stored on your device.
  • iCloud / Keychain: Pro status evidence may be stored in Keychain and iCloud KVS to help keep Pro status available across supported devices, app updates, and reinstallations. Optional iCloud sync may also sync supported app data when enabled.
  • App Store purchases: StoreKit is used for purchase, redemption, and purchase restoration verification.
  • Cultivation sync (optional): When enabled, Readori may upload reading duration, pages or words read, book or chapter metadata, user or device identifiers, and Pro status indicators to the Readori Worker API to calculate cultivation points, realms, progression rewards, and leaderboards.
  • Telegram / Discord binding (optional): If you bind a social account, the Worker may store your platform user ID, username or display name, and chat or guild ID for cultivation profiles, rankings, and community commands.
  • Diagnostic logs: Logs are stored locally by default and are shared only when you export or send them manually.
  • Crash and performance information: Readori may process crash or performance information to maintain app functionality and improve stability.

What We Never Do
